About Us

I started off being an employed Mortgage and Protection Adviser for a corporate estate agent. After some time doing this I wanted to spend more time with my family so I decided to make the jump into being Self Employed. After a little more time working on a self employed basis I decided to start my own company and MTJ Mortgages was born.

I have a lot of people ask me what my favourite type of client is and from having 4 kids I never have favourites but I do like when a client has been told they can’t get a mortgage or can't get the amount they want then I manage to turn it around for them.

Before I was a Mortgage and Protection Adviser I was an Estate agent and before that, many moons ago, I worked as a car salesman. I love my family life having little trips here and there. When I’m having a bit of downtime I like to go fishing. You might also catch me at the local discussing football tactics or on the Golf course pretending I’m really good.

I am a Mortgage and Protection Adviser at MTJ Mortgages and a Chartered Banker with over 10 years’ experience in the financial services sector. My background includes roles as a Tax Inspector and experience across business banking and lending, giving me a well-rounded and practical understanding of finance from multiple perspectives. I am also fluent in English, Turkish, and Arabic, allowing me to support a diverse client base.
 
I am a dual-authorised mortgage adviser, specialising in both residential and commercial mortgages. I work with a wide range of clients and take pride in supporting all types of cases, from straightforward purchases to more complex scenarios or non-standard circumstances. My focus is always on finding the right solution and helping people move closer to achieving their goal. 
 
Outside of work, I’m happily married and share my home with two much-loved pets: Angel, a Scottish Fold cat, and Kiwi, a parrotlet. Ironically, the cat is the one who’s afraid! I enjoy travelling, exploring new places, discovering new cuisines, reading, and playing chess.

I am a Mortgage Administrator within MTJ Mortgages, I get involved with chasing solicitors and providing updates so the client doesn’t have to. My previous roles I have worked for Argos as a Manager and I worked my way around in the banking industry.  

I have 4 beautiful children, they are my world. My husband is my rock and also my boss, Me and Mike are husband and wife, what started off as a favour has got me working 3 days a week chasing solicitors. Family life is everything to me and I also enjoy a tipple on the weekend. I’m always dieting but never loosing weight haha 

In all seriousness what was something I was helping my husband on has turned into a job and role I really enjoy. I love seeing Mike help clients get on the ladder and see the satisfaction and joy it brings him helping. Chasing solicitors and touching base with clients is an important function at MTJ Mortgages and what separates us in terms of the service we provide. I love being a part of someone’s home buying journey.

I have worked in the Property industry for over 10 years including working with high street estate agents and private lettings agent. Due to the nature of the work I have met people from all over the world and helped 1000's of clients find suitable properties for sale and rent.

Starting a new career in mortgages is exciting and challenging at the same time. My experience working with so many different clients over the years has helped to cushion the transition into this new career.

Aside from work I have two beautiful girls and enjoy spending time with family and friends. I really enjoy travelling around the world and experiencing different foods and cultures. I have been asked many times what is my favourite place in the world and I always say home.

After 12 successful years in the hospitality industry, I am excited to embark on a new chapter in mortgage and protection services. My experience in hospitality has honed my skills in customer service, attention to detail, and problem-solving—qualities that I believe will be invaluable in this new role. I am eager to bring my dedication to helping others into a new field, where I can support clients in securing their financial futures. 
 
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, and unwinding with some gaming. As I transition into this new career, I look forward to learning and growing in the mortgage and protection industry while continuing to build meaningful relationships with my clients.
